- During his four years at Ohio State, Andre was critical to the team’s success. The strength in his game lay in his ability to impact winning. I think he’s got the best understanding of what is needed to win and what it looks like. Andre is a versatile forward with an interesting combination of good size and athleticism that make him not easy to stop especially in transition or when he attacks the rim. Very good three point shooter (In his senior season with the Buckeyes, Wesson finished fourth in the Big Ten by shooting 42.2% from 3 for a total of 43/102.), can knock in catch&shoot, from the dribble or also from P&R. Despite the size he is also an efficient creator, for himself and for teammates, able to handle the ball and make thing happen as P&R handler. Andre understands the game and he does not need always the ball in the hands to impact the game, can be efficient off the ball as well. Solid rebounder and underrated passer (2.5apg in Finland and 2.0apg at Ohio St. as senior).
