'Evan is a versatile, scoring machine on the court and a man full of wisdom and experience off of it! Maxwell averaged 16.7 points and 6.3 rebounds for the Wildcats. He shot 59.9-percent from the floor and 43.2-percent from beyond the arc. He had three 30-point games this season that all came against top-10 opponents, including 39 point efforts in wins over Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) and Marian (Ind.). Maxwell been named NAIA All-Americans and he was voted as All-Crossroads League First Team prior to the national tournament. Evan really put in a lot of work this season and it showed by his consistent play from start to finish. He was as dominant as any post player in the entire country, said IWU head coach Greg Tonagel. Evan was one of the best prospect in the country after a great sophomore year at Liberty in D1. He got interests from a lot of great NCAA D1 programs and he opted for Kansas where he transferred as redshirt in his third college season. But Evan had to leave the program for personal reasons. We were all excited when Evan committed and we all had high expectations for him, Self said in a release. This semester did not go the way Evan had anticipated. We support his decision to take some time away to figure out what he wants to do moving forward. Hes a tremendous young man and we wish him nothing but the best. Maxwell chose Kansas University as a transfer destination over Virginia Tech, Baylor, Arizona and Cincinnati.

Evan is a very talented big, despite a very good size he is very mobile and athletic enough to finish above the rim. He is very skilled and he is able to find the way of the basket in multiple ways. Has moves to finish back to the rim but can also attack frontly. He has a solid 3 point range shot that make him a lethal offensive weapon. Evan started his pro career in Slovakia where he is been able to showcase his talent and versatility before sign in the British BBL where led Newcastle to a fantastic season finished with a crazy double winning both Championship and BBL Cup. Last season Evan made another step forward joining ZP in Ukraine where once again had a great season. This summer he signed with MZT in the competitive Adriatic League where in 2 months he had a chance to record some very good games, 13 in 10 minutes vs Partizan, 12+7 vs Buducnost and 9+5+4 vs Mornar Bar.
